This session will discuss equity-centered promising practices and design principles for facilitating learning in studio-based learning environments such as makerspaces. Prompting questions and specific challenges are drawn from multiple stakeholder groups including K-12 schools, public libraries, museums, community based organizations, non-profits, policy makers, higher ed, and beyond.
