Ingestion Congestion, or, Accepting the New and the Old
Dean Smith
New York Art Resources Consortium, United States of America

The Frick Collection is struggling to ingest its backlog of digitized material. I will characterize our preservation project in broad strokes and identify possible bottlenecks to ingest. I hope to solicit input from the community regarding viable methods of increasing throughput, or of common technical problems that should be addressed.

Swimming Against the Repository Tide
Chris Prom, Kyle Rimkus, Tracy Popp
University of Ilinois at Urbana-Champaign, United States of America

For the past several years, the University of Illinois Library has been quietly developing a repository service with a different approach from others on offer, with an integrated, AWS-based repository that consolidates preservation, description, and access.
